HIP designs and reviews this website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a target. This is an ongoing practice rather than a claim that every page or third-party service is free from barriers.

- A skip link for bypassing repeated navigation

- Alternative text for meaningful images
- Responsive layouts that support mobile devices and text enlargement
- Reduced-motion preferences where animation is present
- Plain-language warnings not to submit PHI or confidential information

Some external links, downloads, or services are controlled by third parties and may not provide the same level of accessibility. HIP will provide a reasonable alternative for HIP-controlled information when feasible.
